We’re excited to share that last night at the CNP Awards, Bolt won the customer choice award for Best Mobile Solution!
The CNP Awards are part of the annual CNP Expo, which is the only conference dedicated to the intersection of security, e-commerce technology, and payments – all key aspects of online (“card not present”) shopping. After launching the Bolt platform in January of 2018, we’re proud to be the youngest company to ever win this recognition from CNP.
What sets us apart from the incumbents is that our product is built from day one with mobile in mind. Right out of the box, online retailers using Bolt can offer a mobile-optimized, seamless experience to their shoppers. Bolt offers a unique no-scroll, above-the-fold experience on any smartphone. We’ve also eliminated unnecessary page redirects that typically slow shoppers down or cause them to give up.
In addition to being built for mobile from the ground up, Bolt has also reduced unnecessary fields to get customers to the finish line even faster. Shoppers don’t need to add a billing address, which leaves more room for user error, and repeat customers benefit from one-click checkout. In all, this means a checkout experience that’s twice as fast as the industry standard, whether you’re on mobile, a laptop or a tablet.
At Bolt, we run countless A/B tests so that we can continuously find new ways to optimize the checkout experience for online retailers. It’s great to see our efforts to perfect the checkout experience recognized among the leaders in online retail, but we know it’s still day one for us.
